The charter capital of the National Cybersecurity Agency of Azerbaijan has been officially set at 442,498 manats.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, this figure is stipulated in the charter of the National Cybersecurity Agency, which was established by a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev.

The agency’s assets will be formed from its charter capital, property provided by the founder, as well as income generated from its activities, donations, grants, attracted investments, and other funds not prohibited by law. The agency is mandated to utilize its assets exclusively for the purposes defined within its charter.

Following the payment of all legally required taxes and mandatory fees, the agency will have the authority to independently manage funds generated from the activities of its departments, branches, representative offices, and subordinate entities. Provisions have been made for the allocation of these remaining funds to provide additional bonuses to the ministry's employees. Any profits not utilized for the purposes outlined in the charter will be transferred to the state budget upon the decision of the ministry.

The establishment of the National Cybersecurity Agency is a strategic step by the Republic of Azerbaijan to strengthen its digital infrastructure. As global cyber threats evolve, the agency is tasked with enhancing national resilience, protecting critical information systems, and coordinating cybersecurity efforts across government and private sectors to ensure the security of the country's digital space.
