The official agenda for the plenary session of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly), scheduled for February 27 as part of the spring session, has been announced.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that a total of 9 items have been included for parliamentary discussion. The draft laws to be considered during the session include:
- Draft law on amendments to the Law "On Cinematography" (third reading);
- Draft law on amendments to the Code of Execution of Punishments (third reading);
- Draft law on amendments to the Civil Code and the Law "On Acquisition of Lands for State Needs" (third reading);
- Draft law on amendments to the Labor Code, the Law "On Individual Accounting in the State Social Insurance System", and the Law "On Labor Pensions" (third reading);
- Draft law on amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses (second reading);
- Draft law on amendments to the Law "On Subsoil" (second reading);
- Draft law on amendments to the Law "On Automobile Transport" (second reading);
- Draft law on amendments to the Labor Code and the Law "On Education" (first reading);
- Draft law on amendments to the Law "On Culture" (first reading).
The Milli Majlis serves as the unicameral legislative branch of the government in Azerbaijan.
