An introductory visit to the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan was organized for foreign military attachés accredited in Azerbaijan, in accordance with the 2026 activity plan approved by Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov.

The Ministry of Defense told Operative Information Center-OMM that 26 representatives from the military attaché offices of 18 countries participated in the visit, which was organized by the ministry's International Military Cooperation Department.

During the event, the delegation received a comprehensive briefing on the operational capabilities and daily activities of the State Border Service. Following the briefing, the foreign military representatives visited the Museum of Victims of Political Repression in Baku.

Such visits are part of Azerbaijan's ongoing efforts to promote transparency and strengthen bilateral military-diplomatic relations with partner nations. The State Border Service plays a critical role in safeguarding Azerbaijan's state borders, particularly in the liberated territories of Garabagh, ensuring regional security and stability.
