A 3.3-magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Caspian Sea early Tuesday morning, according to official seismic monitoring data.

The Caspian Sea region is characterized by active tectonic movements, making it a zone of frequent but often minor seismic activity. Azerbaijan's Republican Seismic Survey Center continuously monitors the Caspian basin and the surrounding territory of Azerbaijan to ensure public safety and provide real-time data on geological shifts. No damage or casualties were reported following this morning's tremors.
