Laos President Thongloun Sisoulith arrived in Azerbaijan on an official visit on October 12.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that an honor guard was lined up in his honor at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, where the national flags of both countries were flying.
Laos President Thongloun Sisoulith was welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister Samir Sharifov, Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov and other officials.
Azerbaijan and Laos maintain diplomatic relations, with official visits providing an opportunity to discuss bilateral ties and areas for potential cooperation.
