Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov will arrive in Azerbaijan on a working visit on October 14.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports, citing the Kyrgyz president’s press service, that Japarov will attend the summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Baku on October 15.
“During the event, heads of state and government, as well as representatives of international organizations, will discuss pressing issues related to expanding ties and deepening regional cooperation in digitalization and sustainable development. The adoption of a number of documents aimed at further developing and strengthening cooperation is expected at the conclusion of the meeting,” the statement said.
CICA is a regional forum that brings together Asian countries to promote dialogue, confidence-building and cooperation. Azerbaijan is among its participating states.
