Jordan has officially condemned the recent Iranian drone attacks targeting Azerbaijan and Turkey, expressing firm opposition to actions that threaten regional stability.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a formal statement regarding the matter. In the statement, the Jordanian MFA strongly denounced Iran's attempts to target Turkey and Azerbaijan, emphasizing that such attacks constitute a gross violation of the sovereignty of both nations. The ministry further characterized these strikes as a dangerous escalation that jeopardizes the security and peace of the entire region.

"Jordan stands in full solidarity with the brotherly Republic of Turkey and the brotherly Republic of Azerbaijan. We support all measures taken by these nations to protect their sovereignty, security, and the safety of their citizens," the statement noted. The Jordanian government called for an immediate halt to such provocations to prevent further destabilization in the Middle East and the Caucasus.

This diplomatic support from Amman highlights the growing international concern over regional security threats. Azerbaijan and Jordan maintain close bilateral relations, characterized by mutual respect for territorial integrity and cooperation within international organizations such as the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Such statements of solidarity underscore the importance of collective security frameworks in addressing cross-border military escalations.
