Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov praised Azerbaijan’s contribution to strengthening cooperation among states within the framework of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that he made the remarks at CICA’s seventh summit in Baku.
“I am pleased to note Azerbaijan’s significant contribution to strengthening cooperation and developing activities within the framework of the Conference,” Japarov said.
Japarov also thanked President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for organizing the meeting and for the hospitality extended to participants.
He welcomed Laos’ accession to CICA and said Kyrgyzstan was ready to engage in active cooperation.
CICA is a regional forum that promotes dialogue and confidence-building among Asian countries. Azerbaijan has hosted the organization’s summit in Baku, bringing member states together to discuss cooperation and regional issues.
