Three Palestinians, including a woman, were injured in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, in what a medical source described as a fresh violation of last year’s ceasefire agreement.
A woman was wounded by Israeli gunfire in Hamad City in the Khan Younis area of southern Gaza, while another Palestinian was injured near Al-Amal Hospital west of the city, the source said.
Local sources said Israeli military vehicles fired heavily toward Palestinian homes and tents sheltering displaced people in several parts of Khan Younis, causing the injuries.
In northern Gaza, medics said a Palestinian sustained moderate injuries in Israeli gunfire near Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia.
The Israeli army also blew up evacuated homes and buildings north of the hospital, near areas under its control. Witnesses told Anadolu Agency they heard a powerful explosion during the demolition; no deaths or injuries were reported.
Separately, Israeli naval vessels fired machine guns and launched shells toward the coast of Gaza City.
Since Oct. 10, 2025, Israeli ceasefire violations have killed 1,493 Palestinians and injured 5,299 others, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
Since October 2023, Israel’s war in Gaza has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and injured more than 175,000, according to Palestinian figures. About 90% of the enclave’s infrastructure has also been destroyed, the figures say.
