Israeli artillery shelling targeted several areas in southern Lebanon on Wednesday, including Mansouri and Majdal Zoun in the western sector, Lebanon’s state news agency NNA reported.
The two towns came under intense artillery fire, while machine-gun fire was directed toward Beit al-Sayyad, the agency said.
Artillery also targeted the outskirts of Haddatha and Baraachit, as well as the Al-Araish area between Haris and Haddatha in the Bint Jbeil district.
Earlier in the morning, shelling hit the outskirts of Shaqra and Wadi al-Salouqi. No casualties or damage had been reported immediately.
Lebanon and Israel have been engaged in US-led negotiations since March, aimed at addressing security arrangements along the border and ending the Israeli occupation and attacks on Lebanese territory.
