U.S. and Israeli forces launched a full-scale air operation against Iran today, targeting key infrastructure and high-ranking officials across the country.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that strikes were carried out on various strategic locations, including the capital, Tehran.

The attacks targeted institutions symbolizing national sovereignty, such as the Ministry of Intelligence, as well as the office of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. According to information provided by the son of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, although his father was directly targeted during the attacks, he managed to survive the assassination attempt unharmed.

Satellite imagery captured by Airbus clearly shows thick smoke rising over Ali Khamenei's residence in Tehran and significant destruction in the surrounding area. Reports suggest that several high-ranking commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and political officials were killed as a result of the operation.

According to CNN, Israel's target list includes the following individuals:

  • Ayatollah Ali Khamenei (Supreme Leader)
  • Sayyid Abdurrahim Musavi (Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces)
  • Masoud Pezeshkian (President)
  • Ali Shamkhani (Secretary of the Defense Council)
  • Ali Larijani (Secretary of the National Security Council)

Tensions in the region have reached a peak following these developments. Official Tehran is expected to issue a comprehensive statement regarding the consequences of the strikes and the reported casualties among the state leadership.

This escalation follows months of heightened regional friction and represents one of the most direct military confrontations involving U.S. and Israeli forces against Iranian sovereign targets. International observers note that such operations significantly alter the geopolitical landscape of the Middle East, potentially leading to a broader regional conflict. US President Donald Trump has previously emphasized the necessity of neutralizing threats to regional stability, a stance that aligns with the scale of the current military engagement.
