The Chief of General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, has approved plans to continue the military operation against Iran that commenced on February 28.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the press service of the Israel Defense Forces released information regarding the strategic developments.
"The Chief of General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces held a meeting to assess the situation and approved plans for the continuation of the operation," the official statement emphasized.
"Less than 48 hours have passed since the start of the operation, and there are still many days of fighting ahead," Zamir stated, highlighting the long-term nature of the current military engagement.
The escalation comes amid heightened regional tensions and follows a series of strategic maneuvers in the Middle East.
