Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has arrived in Azerbaijan for a working visit.
This was reported to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly).
It was noted that during the visit, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament will participate in the 20th session of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States, which is being held in Baku.
The Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) serves as a critical platform for fostering dialogue and cooperation among legislative bodies of Islamic nations. The 20th session in Baku is expected to address key regional security issues, economic cooperation, and the strengthening of parliamentary diplomacy among member states, marking a significant step in the ongoing development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Iran.
