On June 3 and 4, Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov, conducted a scheduled reception of citizens in the Gazakh district. This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Upon his arrival, the Minister visited the monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Gazakh, paying his respects to the late leader's memory. Following this, at the administrative building of the local Police Department, Minister Eyvazov heard the appeals of 211 citizens who had traveled from Gazakh, Aghstafa, Tovuz, Shamkir, Gadabay, and other regions to address various issues. To ensure the prompt resolution of these requests in accordance with legislative requirements and to guarantee citizen satisfaction, the Minister issued specific instructions to the heads of the relevant main departments and divisions of the Ministry. The majority of the appeals were resolved on the spot, while others were placed under official supervision for further action.
During the visit, Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov also inspected the military unit of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs located in the Aghstafa district. He conducted a review of young candidates aspiring to serve in the police force and internal troops. Following the inspection, 238 individuals who met the established criteria for service were advanced to the next stage of the selection process. Such regional visits by high-ranking officials are a standard practice in Azerbaijan, aimed at strengthening the connection between state institutions and the public, ensuring transparency, and addressing local concerns directly at the grassroots level.
