India has extended its official congratulations to the government and people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Independence Day. The message underscores the growing diplomatic rapport between the two nations.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the message was conveyed by the Ambassador of India to Azerbaijan, Abhay Kumar, through a post on the social media platform X.
"We congratulate the government and people of Azerbaijan on Independence Day! We look forward to the further strengthening of bilateral relations," the diplomat noted in his statement.
Azerbaijan and India have maintained diplomatic relations since 1992, with cooperation spanning various sectors, including energy, trade, and cultural exchange. The two nations have consistently sought to enhance their partnership, with high-level visits and intergovernmental dialogues serving as key mechanisms to foster economic and political collaboration in the South Caucasus region.
