Reports have circulated on social media about unauthorized extensions made with metal structures on a pedestrian sidewalk on Balababa Majidov Street in Baku’s Yasamal district.
The Baku City Executive Authority said the illegal encroachments had been removed and the occupation of the sidewalk prevented, Operative Information Center-OMM reports.
Pedestrians can now move safely through the area again.
The Baku City Executive Authority will continue monitoring the area and take appropriate measures to prevent similar violations.
