The Ganja Memorial Complex has been placed under the authority of the Ministry of Culture.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on additional measures related to the operation of the Ganja Memorial Complex.
The order states:
“Guided by Paragraph 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby decree, for the purpose of ensuring the operation of the Ganja Memorial Complex:
1. The Ganja Memorial Complex shall be established under the authority of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
2. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall:
2.1. Ensure that the necessary expenses required to support the operation of the Ganja Memorial Complex are financed from funds allocated to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
2.2. Resolve other matters arising from this order.
3. This order shall enter into force on the day it is signed.”
