President Ilham Aliyev has invited the transitional President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ahmed al-Sharaa, to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the invitation was extended during a meeting between the two leaders held on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. The transitional Syrian leader accepted the invitation with satisfaction.
The Antalya Diplomacy Forum is a high-level gathering of political leaders, diplomats, and academics aimed at addressing global and regional challenges through dialogue.
