President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made a phone call to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, on April 8.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Presidential Press Service released information regarding the conversation. During the call, the head of state extended his congratulations on the recently announced ceasefire between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States.
President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed his gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the congratulations and for the humanitarian aid provided by Azerbaijan to Iran. The leaders also engaged in an exchange of views regarding various issues of bilateral cooperation between the two neighboring nations.
