Intermittent rain is expected mainly during the daytime in some regions of Azerbaijan on Sept. 12-13.
According to information provided by the National Hydrometeorological Service to "Operative Information Center-OMM", rainfall in the southeastern regions and mountainous areas is likely to be short-lived and heavy, accompanied by thunderstorms and possible hail.
Rainy weather is also expected to raise water levels in rivers.
Short-term heavy rainfall and thunderstorms can reduce visibility and make travel conditions more difficult. Residents in areas at risk are advised to exercise caution near rivers and during periods of intense precipitation.
