Intermittent rain is expected in some mountainous and foothill districts of Azerbaijan during the second half of Sept. 16.
The National Hydrometeorological Service provided the information to Operative Information Center-OMM.
The service said that in some areas, the rain may be brief and heavy, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail. The expected wet weather may also lead to rising water levels in rivers.
Mountainous and foothill areas can experience rapidly changing weather, and intense rainfall may temporarily increase runoff and river flows. Residents are advised to exercise caution near rivers and during thunderstorms.
