Azerbaijan national team player Edgar Adilkhanov could continue his career in the Belgian league. Genk are interested in signing the 21-year-old midfielder, who plays for Shamakhi.
The Belgian club has submitted an official offer to Shamakhi for the player. According to the report, Genk are prepared to pay about 2 million euros for Adilkhanov, equivalent to 3.818 million manats.
Talks between the clubs are ongoing. No information has been provided on whether the parties have reached a final agreement over a potential transfer. Adilkhanov’s move to the Belgian club has therefore not yet been confirmed.
