On August 26, First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, along with her daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva, attended the opening of kindergarten No. 352 in the Nasimi district of Baku.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Anar Alakbarov, Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, briefed the attendees on the renovation and construction work carried out at the facility.

It was noted that the institution, which now operates as kindergarten No. 352 with a capacity of 116 children, had functioned as a specialized republican kindergarten for children with hearing impairments since 1972. With the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the building underwent extensive renovations, and a new wing was constructed.

The newly renovated kindergarten provides comprehensive conditions for preschool education and development, while maintaining a specialized group for children with hearing impairments. A new two-story, 36-capacity wing was specifically built to accommodate these children.

The facility is equipped with surdology offices, classrooms, playrooms, bedrooms, sports, event, music, and dance halls, as well as medical, changing, and staff rooms. All areas are furnished with modern equipment and furniture. Additionally, outdoor playgrounds and recreational areas have been established for the children.

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation, led by First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, plays a pivotal role in Azerbaijan's social infrastructure development. Through its various initiatives, the Foundation frequently oversees the modernization of educational and healthcare institutions across the country, ensuring that children, including those with special needs, have access to high-quality facilities and inclusive learning environments.
