FIFA imposes three-window transfer ban on Fenerbahçe

FIFA has imposed a transfer ban on Turkish club Fenerbahçe for three transfer windows.

"Operative Information Center-OMM" reports that, under the decision, the ban may be lifted if the club makes the required payments.

Under FIFA rules, the payment required to lift the ban must be made within 45 days.

Otherwise, the transfer ban will remain in force for the stipulated period.

FIFA’s transfer bans are intended to ensure that clubs comply with their financial and contractual obligations. The measure affects a club’s ability to register new players, while existing squad members remain subject to the applicable competition and registration rules.
