The United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, and France have welcomed the recent developments regarding the agreement between Iran and the United States.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, this was stated in a joint declaration by the leaders of the four nations, as cited by the AFP news agency.

The document notes that the "Group of Four" countries are prepared to consider lifting sanctions against Tehran, provided that Iran fulfills clear and verifiable obligations regarding its nuclear program.

The leaders also pledged to cooperate with the United States, Iran, and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

This diplomatic shift marks a significant moment in international relations, as the "Group of Four" seeks to balance non-proliferation goals with regional stability. The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), often referred to as the Iran nuclear deal, has been a central pillar of Middle Eastern security policy for years. By conditioning sanctions relief on verifiable compliance, European powers are attempting to revive diplomatic channels that have been strained by years of geopolitical friction and economic restrictions.
