President of the Republic of Estonia Alar Karis has sent a congratulatory letter to President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Azerbaijan's national holiday.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the letter reads:
"Dear Mr. President,
Please accept my sincere congratulations to you and the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of your country's national holiday.
In today's complex global environment, close cooperation through multilateral frameworks, especially within the United Nations, is of greater importance than ever. By working together, we can better protect the principles of the UN Charter and contribute to building a safer, fairer, and more sustainable world.
In this regard, I welcome the continuous progress observed in our bilateral relations and hope that the partnership between our countries will be further strengthened in the coming years.
Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration."
Azerbaijan and Estonia established diplomatic relations in 1992. Since then, the two nations have developed cooperation across various sectors, including information technology, education, and trade, while Estonia continues to support the development of relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union.
