Club Brugge beat Inter 4-3 away from home in the second round of the league phase of the 2026/2027 UEFA Champions League. In the match played at San Siro in Milan on October 13, the visitors’ forward Nicolo Tresoldi scored a hat-trick.
Tresoldi opened the scoring in the 30th minute. Lautaro Martinez equalized in the 44th minute, but the Belgian forward scored twice more, in the 63rd and 74th minutes, to put his team ahead. Club Brugge winger Carlos Forbs provided the assists for both goals.
Martinez reduced the deficit in the 81st minute. However, in the 87th minute, Forbs set up Romeo Vermant to complete an assist hat-trick and make it 4-2. A goal by Inter’s Ange-Yoan Bonny in the 90+3rd minute could not prevent the defeat.
Club Brugge therefore left Milan with three points. Inter captain Martinez scored both of the home side’s goals.
