Brent crude futures rose 2.4% to $100.35 a barrel at 08:30 GMT on Thursday, reversing earlier losses. US benchmark West Texas Intermediate gained 2.45% to $92.62.

Iranian government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani said on Wednesday that Tehran had received Washington’s response to a new proposal delivered through Qatari mediation.
Iran’s stated conditions include ending hostilities on all fronts, including in Lebanon, lifting the US naval blockade and releasing Iranian assets.
OPEC+ producers keep output targets unchanged
Separately, seven OPEC+ producers kept their October output targets at September levels, underscoring the role of supply policy alongside diplomatic developments.
