US actor RJ Mitte, best known for playing the son of drug kingpin Walter White in the television drama “Breaking Bad”, has died aged 34.
“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of beloved actor, philanthropist, and passionate disability rights advocate RJ Mitte,” his representative told the BBC. No cause of death was immediately given.
Mitte, who lived with cerebral palsy, drew on his own experience for his role in the Emmy-winning series, which starred Bryan Cranston.
He received a Screen Actors Guild Award for his work on the show.
