Azerbaijan and Türkiye maintain relations unparalleled anywhere in the world.
"Operative Information Center-OMM" reports that Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov made the remarks at a joint press briefing with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan in Baku.
Bayramov said contacts between Azerbaijan and Türkiye were held regularly.
"When discussing relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, it is necessary to note that the two countries have ties with no equivalent anywhere in the world. It is also important to mention the views of the leaders of the two countries. In 2025-2026, the leaders of Azerbaijan and Türkiye visited each other’s countries eight times, which is an indication of the strength of the relationship," he said.
Azerbaijan and Türkiye have described their bilateral partnership as a strategic alliance, with cooperation spanning political, economic, energy, transport and security issues. High-level reciprocal visits remain a key feature of relations between Baku and Ankara.
