Starting July 16, the movement scheme for the M8 regular bus route will be modified, according to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
According to the official statement, the route's trajectory toward the Mashtaga settlement will be adjusted. The new path will proceed via Ahmad Rajabli Street – Tabriz Street – Agha Nematulla Street – the service road of Heydar Aliyev Avenue – Mirza Gadim Iravani Street – Khatai Avenue – and back onto the service road of Heydar Aliyev Avenue. Following this adjustment, the bus will continue along its existing route.
These changes are part of ongoing efforts by the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency to optimize public transportation infrastructure in Baku. The agency frequently reviews and adjusts bus routes to improve passenger accessibility, reduce traffic congestion, and ensure more efficient connectivity between the capital's residential districts and major transit hubs.
