During the 2026 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, general education institutions located in areas where the race takes place will transition to online instruction.
This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the State Agency for Preschool and General Education (MÜTDA).
The agency noted that school administrations and parents will be formally notified regarding the specific schedule adjustments. The transition is intended to manage logistics and traffic flow in the capital during the high-profile international sporting event.
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is scheduled to take place from September 24 to 26. The Baku City Circuit, known for its challenging street track layout, has hosted Formula 1 races since 2016, consistently drawing international attention to the capital of Azerbaijan.
