Due to ongoing and scheduled repair works, traffic will be temporarily restricted on several streets in the capital, Baku.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (AAYDA) has issued an official statement regarding these measures, which are intended to improve road infrastructure and ensure long-term safety for motorists.
The affected streets are as follows:
- Surakhani district, Gunashli settlement, Ilgar Musayev Street – effective from 22:00 on August 27;
- Sabunchu district, Bakikhanov settlement, Khalil bey Khasmammadov Street – effective from 22:00 on August 27;
- Sabunchu district, Bakikhanov settlement, Yavar Aliyev Street – effective from 20:00 on August 28;
- A 600-meter section of Jeyhun Hajibeyli Street, from Hanifa Alasgarov Street to Mikhail Kaverochkin Street – effective from 20:00 on August 28;
- A section of Mikhail Kaverochkin Street, from Jeyhun Hajibeyli Street to U. Bunyadzade Street – effective from 16:00 on August 31.
The State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads regularly conducts maintenance and rehabilitation projects across the capital to modernize the transport network.
