The structure of Azerbaijan’s Chamber of Accounts is set to change.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reported this, citing the Chamber.
The Chamber held its next board meeting under the chairmanship of Vugar Gulmammadov. Participants received an update on the implementation of board decisions concerning external state financial control measures and proposed monitoring at certain institutions.
Presentations were then made on how changes to legal acts, including the Labor Code, should be taken into account in external state financial control measures and the Chamber’s day-to-day work.
A draft of the planned structural changes at the Chamber was subsequently presented, along with an explanation of their importance for carrying out the body’s responsibilities. During discussions, board members and heads of structural divisions put forward their views and proposals.
The chairman instructed board members and division heads to accelerate their work to ensure the timely and high-quality fulfillment of their duties, including the implementation of control measures that institutions have not carried out or have only partially completed.
