The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the draft state budget and consolidated budget for 2027, the consolidated budget indicators for the following three years, and the economic and social development concept and forecast indicators for 2027 and the next three years. The documents, together with other materials stipulated by Article 12 of the Law on the Budget System, will be submitted to President Ilham Aliyev in accordance with the law.
The government told “Operative Information Center-OMM”.
The decision was adopted at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.
Under Azerbaijan’s budget process, draft medium-term fiscal documents are prepared by the Cabinet of Ministers and submitted to the President before being presented for consideration by the Milli Majlis (National Assembly). The consolidated budget combines the state budget with the budgets of relevant public funds and provides a broader overview of the country’s fiscal priorities.
