“I have been calling Emin Amrullayev for two months, but I cannot reach him.”
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that MP Seyyad Aran made the remarks while speaking at a meeting of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) Committee on Human Rights.
Aran said the school in Qaradonlu village, Imishli district, would mark its 120th anniversary:
“I heard the minister will come on October 10, and they will hold a celebration. He does not answer me. I put it in my calendar and called, but he did not answer. You have an assistant, after all.
“All right, you have important work. But after you arrive, don’t you see on your monitor that someone called? A member of parliament called you. Check what the matter is.”
Qaradonlu is a village in Imishli district, while the Committee on Human Rights is one of the standing committees of Azerbaijan’s parliament. Parliamentary committees consider issues within their remit and hear contributions from MPs.
