Azerbaijani and Russian foreign ministers meet in Moscow

In Moscow, negotiations are underway between the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Foreign Minister of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, at the Reception House of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the meeting is taking place within the framework of Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov's official visit to Russia.

The discussions are expected to cover the current state and development prospects of Russia-Azerbaijan relations, as well as bilateral cooperation issues. Furthermore, the ministers will exchange views on pressing matters regarding the regional and international agenda.

Following the talks, a joint press conference by the ministers is scheduled to take place.

Context: Diplomatic dialogue between Baku and Moscow remains a critical component of regional stability in the South Caucasus. These high-level meetings frequently address the implementation of trilateral agreements and the ongoing normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, reflecting the strategic partnership between the two nations.
