The Intelligent Transport Management Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has warned motorcycle and scooter riders.
According to information provided by the center to “Operative Information Center-OMM”, the warning states:
“Operating a two-wheeled vehicle does not give anyone the right to break the rules, endanger other people’s lives or evade responsibility!
Unfortunately, some motorcycle and scooter riders on the capital’s roads appear to believe that they are not held responsible for breaking the rules. As a result, they run red lights and make dangerous maneuvers on the roads. These individuals apparently do not consider the serious consequences their violations could cause.
We recommend that drivers who engage in such behavior watch carefully two traffic accidents recorded by surveillance cameras. The Intelligent Transport Management Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on people operating two-wheeled vehicles to learn from the recorded crashes and obey traffic rules on the roads.”
