The State Agency for Highways of Azerbaijan (AAYDA) is currently conducting road maintenance and repair works to ensure safe and comfortable traffic flow for citizens. The ongoing projects are focused on Mirmahmud Kazımovski and Elchin Azizov streets in the Binagadi district, the Turkan–Hovsan highway in the Khazar district, and Elzar Yusubov street in the Surakhani district of Baku.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the agency, additional maintenance work is scheduled to commence tomorrow at 09:00 at the intersection of Heydar Aliyev Avenue and 7th Kondalan Street.
"Depending on the progress of the repair works, traffic in the mentioned areas may be partially or fully restricted. These restrictions will remain in effect until the completion of the work. Drivers are requested to use alternative routes during this period and to approach the ongoing maintenance with understanding," the agency stated.
The State Agency for Highways of Azerbaijan regularly conducts infrastructure improvement projects across the capital to maintain road safety standards and manage traffic congestion. These initiatives are part of a broader effort to modernize the transport network in Azerbaijan, ensuring that major thoroughfares and residential streets meet modern safety and durability requirements.
