A training session has been held for a group of reservists at a military unit of the Special Forces of Azerbaijan. The exercises were conducted in accordance with the preparation plan for 2026 approved by Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov.
The Ministry of Defense told Operative Information Center-OMM that the main objective of the training, organized in cooperation with the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, is to enhance the military readiness, theoretical knowledge, and practical skills of the participants.
During the session, the reservists engaged in firing, tactical, drill, physical, and socio-political training, alongside educational discussions focused on patriotism. Azerbaijan's Special Forces are highly trained elite units of the country's Armed Forces, known for their critical role in ensuring territorial integrity. The Ministry of Defense regularly conducts such reservist training sessions to maintain a high level of combat readiness and ensure seamless integration between active-duty personnel and mobilization reserves.
