Azerbaijan has dispatched another shipment of oil products to Armenia as part of the ongoing normalization process between the two countries.

Operative Information Center-OMM, citing AZERTAC, reports that a further 4,500 tons of diesel fuel was sent from the Guzdek station as part of the fuel supply framework established between the neighboring states.

The export of oil products from Azerbaijan to Armenia commenced on December 18 last year, following agreements reached within the bilateral peace agenda. This initiative serves as a significant economic confidence-building measure, aimed at fostering regional stability and integrating transport and energy links in the South Caucasus.

The Guzdek station, located near Baku, serves as a key logistical hub for Azerbaijan's railway infrastructure, facilitating the transport of energy resources. These shipments reflect Azerbaijan's commitment to the peace process and its role as a primary energy provider in the region, utilizing its extensive oil and gas refining capabilities to support regional cooperation.
