The entire budget allocation designated for political parties in the 2025 state budget of Azerbaijan has been fully utilized.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, this information was disclosed in the draft law regarding the "Execution of the 2025 State Budget."
The document is currently under review at today's session of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) Committee on Economic Policy, Industries, and Enterprising.
The draft report specifies that 6 million manats were allocated from the state budget to finance political parties represented in the Milli Majlis, as well as those that secured valid votes in parliamentary elections but did not gain representation. This figure represents a 20% increase compared to the previous year.
In Azerbaijan, state funding for political parties is a mechanism designed to strengthen the multi-party system and support the institutional development of political organizations. The allocation is strictly regulated by law, ensuring transparency in how public funds are utilized to support democratic processes and political engagement within the country.
