The current weather conditions as of 10:00 a.m. on May 31 have been released.
According to information provided by the National Hydrometeorology Service to the Operative Information Center-OMM, rainy and windy weather conditions persisted in several parts of Azerbaijan as of 10:00 a.m. on May 31. In some regions, precipitation was reported as intensive, while snowfall was observed in Shahdag.
Precipitation levels were recorded as follows: 10 mm in Ordubad and Ismayilli; 9 mm in Sabirabad; 8 mm in Dashkasan and Astara; 7 mm in Goygol and Saribash (Gakh); 6 mm in Gadabay and Shahdag; 5 mm in Khizi; 4 mm in Julfa, Naftalan, and Lankaran; 3 mm in Shahbuz and Guba; 2 mm in Balakan, Zagatala, Gabala, Tartar, and Imishli. Precipitation of up to 1 mm was recorded in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in Nakhchivan, Sharur, Ganja, Shamkir, Tovuz, Oghuz, Shamakhi, Gobustan, Gusar, Shabran, Mingachevir, Yevlax, Goychay, Kurdamir, Goranboy, Jalilabad, Yardimli, Lerik, Neftchala, Bilasuvar, Shaki, Aghdam, Lachin, Kalbajar, and Qubadli.
North-westerly winds were observed in several areas, with maximum wind speeds reaching 24 m/s in Naftalan, 22 m/s in Mingachevir, and 20 m/s in Shahdag. Additionally, on May 30, between 13:02 and 13:06, hail was reported in the village of Chapli in the Kalbajar district.
