Azerbaijan plans to allocate 5.3 billion manats for public investment, or capital spending, in 2027.
Operative Information Center-OMM reported that the figure is included in the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework published by the Finance Ministry for the next four years.
The planned amount is 96.3% higher, or nearly double, the approved forecast for 2026, according to the framework.
Investment spending is expected to account for 59.5% of economic activity expenditure next year, compared with a forecast of 34.4% for this year.
Investment spending is projected to reach 5.5 billion manats in 2028, 5.6 billion manats in 2029 and 5.7 billion manats in 2030.
Next year, budget revenues are expected to total 39.254 billion manats, while expenditures are projected at 42.4 billion manats.
