Weather conditions for April 12 in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula are expected to be mostly rainless but with variable cloudiness throughout the day, according to the latest forecasts.
The National Hydrometeorological Service provided this official update to the Operative Information Center-OMM. According to the report, there is a possibility of rain in some parts of the capital during the morning and evening hours. Fog is expected in the morning and evening, while the north-west wind will intensify periodically during the day. Temperatures in Baku will range from 8-10°C at night to 12-15°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will stand at 762 mm Hg, with relative humidity between 65-75%.
In the regions of Azerbaijan, weather conditions are expected to be occasionally rainy. Precipitation may intensify in specific areas, accompanied by lightning, hail, and snow in mountainous regions. Fog is anticipated in various locations, and the western wind will strengthen periodically. Regional temperatures are forecast at 6-10°C at night and 13-17°C during the day, while in mountainous areas, temperatures will fluctuate between 0-5°C at night and 5-10°C during the day.
The National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan regularly monitors atmospheric processes to provide timely warnings regarding seasonal weather changes. Such fluctuations in April are characteristic of the region's transitional climate, where maritime influences from the Caspian Sea often meet continental air masses, leading to sudden shifts in wind speed and precipitation levels across the country's diverse topography.
