Weather conditions in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on May 2 are expected to be changeably cloudy, occasionally gloomy, and primarily rainless, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that while the day will remain mostly dry, there is a possibility of short-term light rain in some areas during the morning hours. A mild southwest wind is expected to be replaced by an occasionally intensifying northwest wind toward the evening.

The temperature in the capital is forecasted to be 10-13°C at night and 16-20°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will stand at 760 mm Hg, with relative humidity ranging between 60-70%.

In most regions of Azerbaijan, the weather will be mainly rainless; however, precipitation is expected in some mountainous and foothill districts during the day. There is a possibility of brief intensive rain, lightning, and hail in specific areas. Occasional fog may occur in various locations, accompanied by a moderate west wind. The temperature in the regions will be 9-13°C at night and 21-26°C during the day, while in the mountains, it will be 3-8°C at night and 13-18°C during the day.

The National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan regularly monitors atmospheric conditions to provide accurate forecasts for the country's diverse climate zones. These forecasts are essential for the agricultural sector and public safety, particularly in mountainous regions where weather patterns can shift rapidly during the spring season.
