Temperatures in Azerbaijan are expected to reach 30 degrees Celsius on May 15, according to the latest meteorological reports.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the National Hydrometeorological Service has issued a forecast indicating a significant warming trend across the country.

In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather is expected to be changeably cloudy and mostly dry. A moderate south-east wind will blow throughout the day. The temperature in the capital will range from 15-18°C at night and 24-29°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is projected to decrease from 754 mm Hg to 750 mm Hg, while relative humidity will fluctuate between 65-75%.

In the regions of Azerbaijan, conditions will remain primarily rainless; however, intermittent rain, lightning, and hail are possible in some areas starting from the afternoon. Fog may occur in certain mountainous districts during the morning and evening. Temperatures in the regions are forecasted to be 14-18°C at night and 25-30°C during the day. In the mountains, temperatures will reach 16-21°C, with some areas seeing highs of 25°C.

The National Hydrometeorological Service, which functions under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, provides these regular updates to ensure public awareness of changing weather patterns. Such temperature rises in mid-May are typical for the seasonal transition in Azerbaijan, often bringing warmer air masses from the south while maintaining the possibility of localized precipitation in higher altitudes.
