Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has strongly condemned the deadly terror attack targeting a train in the Pakistani city of Quetta and extended its deepest condolences to the victims' families.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the ministry shared its statement on its official X account. "We strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack targeting a train in Quetta, Pakistan, which tragically claimed innocent lives and left many injured. We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and express our solidarity with the brotherly people and government of Pakistan during this difficult time," the MFA stated, adding that "such acts of terrorism can never be justified."
Azerbaijan and Pakistan share close bilateral relations, often describing their ties as a strategic partnership built on mutual support in international arenas. The two nations frequently cooperate on security, defense, and economic matters, maintaining a unified stance against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
