Officials have discussed strengthening tourism ties between Azerbaijan and Malaysia and expanding cooperation in the travel sector.
"Operative Information Center-OMM" reported that the Azerbaijani Embassy in Malaysia shared the information on its account on the social network X.
"Azerbaijan’s Ambassador-designate to Malaysia Khazar Farhadov met with Dato’ Dr. Mohd Khalid Harun, president of the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATA), to discuss strengthening tourism ties between Azerbaijan and Malaysia and expanding cooperation in the travel sector," the embassy said in the post.
Tourism cooperation is an important part of bilateral people-to-people ties, supporting direct contacts, cultural exchange and business connections between the two countries.
