Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov, currently on an official visit to Tbilisi, Georgia, has held a meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to discuss bilateral military cooperation.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the Ministry of Defense, the discussions focused on the current state of cooperation between the two nations, as well as pressing regional and international security issues.
The meeting was also attended by Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani. During the talks, the parties emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region and highlighted the high level of strategic partnership and defense cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia.

This cooperation spans various sectors, including energy, transport, and defense, and serves as a vital link connecting the Caspian and Black Sea regions through joint infrastructure projects and security initiatives.
